A nice stroll to Goolwa, cutting the Eastward ‘l’étappe du jour’-loop short (some serious gusty cross winds though)…; Goolwa, welcoming us with humid atmosphere, lighting, drops of rain, and Wind, a lot of wind.

… those who didn’t take the short cut got hit by the wind. Riders collapsed along the road due to fatigue and dehydration.

In 5 years time the TdU is going to provide a lot of cash for local shops. Time for a stage around Perth, I recon
